The reunion consisted of the Homecoming football game, the football game afterparty, and the reunion dinner-dance. A slideshow of 'Then and Now' photos and info was displayed on two screens during the dinner. Announcements, certificates, door-prizes and thanks were made, and was emceed by our Class President, Lee Ewin. Each attendee received a CD of reunion photos and the 'Then and Now' slideshow.
If you did not attend and would like a copy of the CD, send $10 to Pete Girard, 6150 Bernadette Lane, San Diego, CA 92120. Be sure to send a complete return address.

You can still complete the Alumni Survey so that we can keep up-to-date on your activities. Our biggest challenge was locating classmates, this will help us contact you for the next reunion.
The reunion committee visited three potential sites, click here to go directly to the Safari Journal of the committee's road-trip adventure to visit these locales, or go to the link at the bottom of the page. The final selection, based on a variety of factors including availability, menu, venue and price was the Sheraton West Tower, Harbor Island.

You may have learned that, several years ago, the Diocese announced plans to eventually close Uni High and build a campus in North County. The new campus is to be named Cathedral High (ironic, isn't it?), to open in 2005. The Uni campus will be turned over to USD for likely demolition and new facilities. The 2000-2001 freshman class is slated to be the last graduating class of Uni High. The Class of 72 reunion held its Homecoming after-party on the Uni Campus, in the Gym, as an opportunity to visit the campus and see the facility before USDHS ceases to exist. In case you wanted to see the Uni wesite, it is http://www.usdhs.org/.
